Panic! at the Disco is a pop rock/electronica band based out of Las Vegas, Nevada. The band is comprised of Brendon Urie (vocals, guitar, keyboard) and his formative years buddy, Spencer Smiths (drums), in conjunction with their schoolmate, Ryan Ross (guitar, keyboard, backing vocals).
To promote their tune, the band made touch with Pete Wentz (of Fall Out Boy) due to his LiveJournal website. Impressed by using the band, Wentz individually met with the band and signed them to his imprint label Decaydance. Under the label, the band released their debut album, A Fever You Cant Sweat Out, which may debut at #112 at the Billboard two hundred album charts.
Featured in Spin magazine as their band of the day in early October 2005, accomplishing #1 at the MySpace chart, and normally staying in PureVolumes Top 10 chart, may in simple terms lend a hand develop the bands acceptance. An appearance on MTVs TRL on January 17, 2006, on the most well known of their tune video for I Write Sins Not Tragedies, also helped garner the band a lot exposure.
